Wiring the Small Law Office for Less than $ 10,000 This widely published article gives recommendations for hardware and software I use in my office and in court. Includes my choices of software for case management, word processing, document management, and trial presentations. Timelines - They're Not Just for Trials Anymore Published nationally, this article explains many of the uses for timelines in court; why they work; and recommends use of TimeMap, an inexpensive program to create timelines. Damages, Medical Records and Costs Spreadsheet This is an often-requested but very simple WordPerfect spreadsheet to keep track of medical providers, dates of records requests, when records are received, amount of medical bills, and the amount of any medical lien. Easy for staff and attorney to quickly see what records haven't come in; the amount of medical damages; and helps calculate the amount the client will receive in a settlement after payment of liens and costs of obtaining records. |
